How to Do a Bench Press

  1. Begin with your arms out to your side and bent at 90 degrees. Your palms should be facing your feet and your wrists straight.
  2. Push the weights up until your elbows are almost straight. Don't lock your elbows or bow your back.
  3. Slowly return to the starting position.
